“Stunning views of the Sea and Positano1. The communication with Maria was good upon inquiry, upon booking, and upon arrival. On the day of our arrival, we communicated to keep Maria informed of our arrival time. She provided a meeting location and was waiting for us when we arrived. We had a large van to accommodate my family of 6 and so prior to our arrival, Maria arranged parking for this large vehicle for a fee at a local hotel. It worked out well since driving and parking in this area is challenging. We walked about 2 blocks with luggage in tow to reach the apartment and there are many steps to get to the apartment. This rental does not have a lift. The Air BnB rental is located in the heart of Praiano with shops and restaurants around. The apartment was clean and decorated nicely. The photos on AirBnB represent very well what we saw when we walked into the apartment. Even though this apartment is centrally located, it was quiet at night. We enjoyed stunning views of the sea from either of two patios attached to the property. Maria was organized and provided good recommendations to optimize our time on the Amalfi Coast. She was warm and inviting and made our arrival very efficient! We will definitely come again when we return to Italy. Thank you, Maria!”

“We loved our time in Positano staying at Maria’s place. We were met by her son Lorenzo who helped us with our bags up hundreds of stairs. The apartment was spotlessly clean & the stairs were well worth it for the spectacular view & quiet area. The large terrace is so beautiful to sit, sun bake or enjoy dinner. There is a great outside cold shower with a view and the inside shower also looks over the sea. The apartment was a perfect size for our family of four which includes 2 teenagers. We only wish we were able to stay longer. Will definitely be back in the future.”

A great sun deck and plunge pool , so quiet and out of the way , was very relaxing .

“This villa is better than we imagined and an absolutely wonderful family location. Everything is beyond comfortable and very very clean! The porch overlooking the ocean and Positano are beautiful and we enjoyed family breakfasts and dinners as well as morning coffee. Maria is a very helpful hosts with many suggestions upon check in and helped us with questions during our stay it was our first visit to he Amalfi Coast and we loved Praiano!! It would be our pleasure to return and we hope to do so!”

Could not recommend Villa Antonio enough for those looking to enjoy their own space in what can be a busy Amalfi region! We were very happy that we chose to stay in Praiano, rather than the touristy Positano or Amalfi. Praiano still had many locals around and a very chilled vibe. Maria met us in town and showed us the way to the villa and where we could find free parking for the rental car. She then stayed on to give us plenty of advice about local restaurants and swimming spots - Kasai is a must-do for dinner. Whilst we made sure we got out and about to see the sights, it was also lovely to be able to spend time relaxing in the garden on the sun chairs. We made good use of the spa and ping pong table, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped for when we wanted to cook for ourselves. There is a supermarket close by (although be aware that it shuts between midday and 3 or 4pm) and house had plenty of space for two couples.”

Beautiful, private home with stunning views of the coast. This property was well worth the "built-in" exercise program previously mentioned in a separate review. While it was challenging to get up & down the stairs with two large, heavy suite cases and backpacks, we were assisted by Maria the entire way up and greeted with a complimentary bottle of water & wine. Without luggage it was very manageable as long as you are in fair physical shape. I would not recommend for people who have difficulty walking long distances. The home is spacious and well-cleaned. The property manager "Antonino" speaks very good English and provides numerous documents describing bus routes, restaurants recommendations, etc. which was very helpful & appreciated. The shower was one of the larger & warmer ones we enjoyed while traveling around the different regions of Italy. The local beach is very simple to get to and was one of our favorite parts of the trip, along with the delicious fresh pasta & seafood in town. If you are bothered by ants, I would suggest packing some traps, but other than that we had no complaints. It is a hidden gem and we hope to be fortunate enough to visit again in the future!

This villa is a fantastic way to see the Amalfi Coast! The villa truly is directly over the sea, and was a perfect setting for our group of 7. There are many stairs, here and everywhere on the Amalfi Coast, but the walk is worthwhile. Sunrise and sunset are all around you, and the moon is a delight. Be sure to charter a boat from La Boa Charter, in the beach area below the villa---ask for the Captain John--he is very good at what he does. We enjoyed dinner in the beach area below at Armandino restaurant.

Fantastic views. Praiano is a sleepy town not far from Positano but away from all the tourists. Local artisans have sprinkled the steps on the way to the beach with great little hidden art moments. Definitely worth taking the steps down (but the bus back up). Be sure to visit Paulo Sandulli in his watchtower studio - incredible. Maria was fantastic to share all the little hidden secrets of the town. Our favorite is that the local grocery Tutti x Tutto will pick you up to shop and then return you home. You'll want to stay in and cook and dine from the outdoor dining table that overlooks the water. The house was clean and as described. The pool was awesome to be able to cool off in after a long day exploring. There were mosquitos - just be prepared and bring bug spray. Stay here if you love great views and seclusion.
