We loved our stay at Casa Elisabetta. The cooking class that Cristina gave was fun and very informative. Thanks to Pasquale's fishing we had wonderful fresh fish to cook. The house was everything we expected and more. Most of all , we enjoyed the hospitality of the Ruocco family. Elisabetta acted as translator and Francesco entertained us by just being there. Nonna Elisabetta made us feel welcome with her many kindnesses.....what a beautiful family! Tony and Eddy from Villasamalficoast.com offered us assistance whenever necessary. It was nice to be able to go to someone for help whenever we needed to. They greeted us and even said good bye when we left. It was a very pleasant stay and we are left with great memories. Don't let the crowds change the way you all go out of your way to make people feel welcome.

We experienced an amazing stay on the most beautiful coastline! We really hope to return. Thank you to Tony for his hospitality and recommendations. We especially liked La Strada and Costa Diva restaurants. We enjoyed shopping and cooking at home a few nights. We loved having cocktails at Bar del Sole and watching the sunset. We enjoyed walking the path to the tower to visiting Paolo Sandulli and seeing his wonderful artwork. We enjoyed road trips to Amalfi, Sorrento, Salerno and Ravello( the view is fantastic). We enjoyed a metre of pizza at Gigino's in Vico Equense. If you should come across a dog named Nando (see his name tag) he loves sausage, is not lost and just travels around night and day.

All of the preceding reports are absolutey right. Villa Benedetta is a magic place. We have really enjoyed every aspect--the weather, the people and the opportunity to visit Amalfi and Positano. Food: Armandino's restaurant on the beach provided us with a great meal on our arrival. Worth supporting! We really liked the butcher opposite the church in Vettica.. We enjoyed the water taxi ride to Positano. Huge thanks to Tony who introduced us to the house and helped us when we were in need. The only thing wrong with our holiday was...it was too short!!!

Hello Tony: It is Betty Culgin. Well we arrived home safely but very very tired. Dave right now is sick I'm hoping I will be ok though I wasn't well last week. How is the weather there? It is not bad here for us around 13C to 16C so as you know that is good for this time of year. Tony I was wondering if you could do me a favor. We had the Ricotta e Pere Torte at Salvatores down by the beach in Praiano, the best we had tasted along the Amalfi Coast. His mother gave me the recipe, well I didn't understand her very well so I wrote down what I thought she meant. It was frustrating for both of us, she was really trying to tell me and explain it. I was wrong with what I thought she said and I have been looking all over the internet cannot find it as she had described it. Could you by any chance please get me a recipe for this wonderful cake? I need a list of the ingredients and the amounts of these ingredients along with a bit of instruction on how to put it together though I have a pretty good idea on how to do that. I would really appreciate it and I thought since you are so well known and liked there that you would have a very good chance on getting me the recipe. I would really appreciate it if you could do that for me. Say hello to our gracious hosts for us they are lovely people. We will remember all of you. Hey you know what we do not have a picture of you or Eddy. Also say hello to Eddy. Sorry we didn't see him before we left. You are all very nice people. Thank you kindly for your help and hope to hear from you soon Betty

Time stopped for one week in our lives... We stepped into the village of Praiano- not into a hotel-but into a home, a neighbourhood, a way of life. From the terrace we watched the preparations for the celebration of the feast of San Luca. We experienced the fireworks at 8:00 a.m., the bells ,the procession, the band performance and the fireworks display at night-----a very special day in our lives. Thank you for sharing this special corner of the sky...it was filled with warmth. We enjoyed your eggs, Limoncello and most of all we enjoyed you both. God Bless You.

An amazing stay with a breathtaking view and wonderful home-cooked meals Good things to know.... Shop at Tutto per Tutti market in Praiano. Remember it is closed from 13:00 to 16:00. Visit Pansa Bakery in Amalfi .....great pastries. Swim at least once in the sea...just to say you did. Visit Pompei ... it is unreal. To enjoy your stay here, slow down and live like the locals do. Enjoy life....it is too short.

Casa Mare is a wonderful retreat. The view and the balcony are amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks up into the mountains. The location was ideal for access to Amalfi and Positano. We highly recommend Vivaro Wine Bar in Vettica ( Praiano) Ristorante La Brace in Praiano for pizza Ristorante Costa Diva in Praiano for seafood Tony was very knowledgable and helpful about everything in the area; thanks
