September 1, 2014 - Ambra House was an absolute paradise. If you want a vacation filled with views, tranquility, top rate accommodations and a kind, loving family to be your host Ambra House is the place, it is absolutely beautiful! The property itself was far nicer then the pictures. We were so impressed by the cleanliness and care that the owners take for their home. The terrace is breathtaking, the home itself it modern and very clean. The view from our outstanding terrace was magnificent! We woke up every morning thinking we were in a dream. It was so tranquil and private. This place should be called Casa Paradise! We were greeted by Ivan upon our arrival and he was very kind, informative, friendly and available to us. Carla, the owner, was right next door and was available anytime we had a question. She was amazingly kind and friendly. I cannot begin to thank you and your family for your kindness and warmth, but most of all for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. My family and I had an amazing, relaxing, adventurous, fun time and we cannot thank you enough. We are a family that travels often and very, very rarely stays in hotels. Our #1 reason is that we feel we are unable to truly experience the culture and people if we are staying at a hotel property. Your home allowed us to experience and enjoy the beautiful people and culture of Positano. We are very honest with ourselves in not expecting everything to be perfect, but I do have to tell you this time it truly was!!! Please express our thanks and many hugs and kisses to your family and, of course, to Pluto, Sara & Tibia. My family and I enjoyed the most beautiful, memorable 12 days here, we were so sad to leave and would come back again.

I spent my holiday in Praiano at Villa Panorama with my family. I found this magnificent Villa through the (www.amalfcoastvillas.com) The booking system was extremely easy and clear, the location was great, the house was perfectly cleaned, well equipped for any evenience. We had a fantastic stay but just little disappointed at the check-in. the gentleman who showed us the way was very rude, he carried us so fast along the stairs and he did not help us with our luggages, he was so nervous maybe he had something to do most important than his work. He didn\'t explained us nothing and we felt lost. We met him only the first day, we can\'t forget his rudeness, fortunately not all italian people are like him.

June 28, 2014 - Staying at Ambra House was the highlight of our European vacation. It is more beautiful than the pictures. Having the family right next door and being able to share their garden and play with their dogs made us feel like we were at home. They were very helpful with all our questions during our travels. I would highly recommend this amazing, beautiful casa. It will be our only place to stay the next time we're in Positano. The owner's family was extremely generous and welcoming. Thank you Ivan [the owner] for all your guidance and making us feel like we were part of the family. Villas Amalfi coast made my travel plans so much easier. I will use them every time I go back to Italy. I highly recommend their services. Luca was very helpful and made sure all my questions were answered. Thank you Luca!!

Hi Maria Hope you are well. Here is a the review. I will also add some lovely pictures of the house when I get some time. As you will see, I have left a good review, but feel I have duty to mention the break in for future visitors. Having read the reviews on trip advisor, I knew this was the place that I wanted to stay. I was travelling with my boyfriend, his mother, his sister and his nephew. Maria greeted us in Praiano and guided us to the house. There is one parking place for the house on the side of the road, but you have to walk about 100m back to the entrance of the house. Upon arrival at the house, we were not disappointed, it was as described, if not better. My boyfriend and I stayed in the master bedroom with double doors out onto the terrace. Waking up to those views is something I shall never forget. There are a number of wonderful terraces to enjoy the views, although the weather permitted us from sitting out on some days (April showers). Luca delivered our shopping on most days, which is very helpful as it is almost impossible to park in Praiano. He also arranged for a beautiful birthday cake for my boyfriends birthday, I have to say it was probably one of the best birthday cakes we have tasted, maybe that was because it was enjoyed on the balcony with breakfast on a sunny morrning overlooking those views! The beach is a 5 min walk down the side road and there are some lovely little bars and restaurants, you can see the house from most of them (see pictures). We also enjoyed some lovely walks (Walk of the Gods) and another to Furore. Well worth doing, but quite strenuous, so you do need some level of fitness. This place really is paradise and somewhere I will never forget. It would not stop me returning. PS there is excellent wifi at the property, but you don't really need it given the views that you have to look at.

We had a wonderful time staying in Villa Benedetta, and you were so kind and welcoming it made the trip really special. The villa was everything we could have hoped for and is a truly special place to be. We will be sure to use you again if we visit the Amalfi coast in the future. Thank you again for everything. We were so pleased with our choice! Exactly as the pictures shown on the site. The views of Positano and Capri from our long balcony and private terrace were simply exquisite. Only 50 stairs lead you to the apartment, not many in comparison to other places. You actually get used to them! The apartment was immaculate. It is very well located to get to all of the coast cities - Maiori, Minori, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. Quaint little town and peaceful (at night). The apartment is located on the main road of the Coast so it does get busy and loud (buses honking) during the day, but we were out most days. It is very quiet at night - by 10 pm. The bus stop is a few meters away so there was no need for a car. The owners Marissa and Rafaelle took great care of us. We were surprised several times with Marissa's wonderful baking and fruits & veggies from their garden. The most caring and sweet people you can possibly meet. Loved, loved, loved this place. Hope to return some day.

October 2, 2013 - This villa was actually as beautiful when seen live as it looked in the photos... and that is rarely the case with anything. The long walk to the town and beach makes it not a place for everyone... and Positano itself is a bit of a (beautiful) bore and a tourist trap... but we all thought the villa itself was simply outstanding. The bedroom could use a bit more closet space (or maybe just more hangers and shelves). The owners were very sweet and brought us lemon cake for dessert after one of our big meals on the last night there. We loved the dogs (especially Sara) and took them in on a stormy night. Finding you folks was by accident... but we liked the personal attention, the phone calls and help we got finding a villa that fit our needs. Ambra House was idyllic in many ways.

We really enjoyed our time at La Cala del Maro. The place was much larger than we expected and included everything we needed for a turnkey vacation. There is a little market with everything we needed for our stay within a 10 minute walk. The place was very private and the pool was awesome, with a neat little area down by the pool for grilling burgers, etc. Maria is the best. Super easy to work with and very trustworthy.
