Beautiful Villa in a beautiful location. On a rock cliff half way between the mad bustle of Positano and Amalfi. Praiano seems the perfect compromose.

about Villa la Tranquillita
This was exactly the respite we needed after a busy and hectic stay in Rome. The house was a refuge for us to unwind. Tina checked us in and was about the most helpful person we have experienced in Italy. The place was quiet and comfortable and we loved the multiple outdoor spaces. We also had a very sweet kitty visit us which gave us a sense of home too. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The view was spectacular! Was a very traditional older building, very quintessential Positano. We loved having the private beach with the chairs and kayaks and the market underneath we went to every day!

Had a great stay in Praiano at the villa. The view and terrace are amazing and the house is very comfortable. Tina was extremely helpful with recommendations and how to get around the Amalfi coast. We were very happy with our trip.

Beautiful apartment and view
Beautiful traditional Italian apartment with a gorgeous view from the balcony patio onto Positano and the sea. Spacious, bathrooms functional and clean. The apartment is about 1/2 way up the hill, but many steps are part of Positano life. The kitchen was well stocked, and it was easy to cook breakfast and even dinner. The AC worked well, and there was a washing machine and a dishwasher which were very much appreciated! The owners were very kind and helpful, although the manager (Maria) seemed a bit rude in online communications. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This place was in a nice quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. A bus station was very close or a list of taxis were given. The place was comfortable. It was nice to cool off in the dipping pool.

This was a really fun and funky place to stay. First off, like everyone else has said in the reviews…300 stairs to get to the house. But if you are visiting Positano or any of the Amalfi coast, you are kidding yourself if you don’t want to do stairs. It is just part of the beauty and how to get the amazing views. The house is unique with a lot of history. The pictures accurately represent the house. Paulo was extremely responsive and friendly. He was helpful with taking our luggage up in the lift so we didn’t have to carry it up, and was easy to schedule a time to take the luggage down when leaving. The beach is wonderful. Again, 277 stairs extra but worth it for the beauty and privacy of the beach. The location is about 15 mins from the center of Positano, definitely walkable. Over all I loved the house and would love to come back again. Next time in maybe a little better shape for the stairs!
