Villa Michelina is a charming retreat owned by one of the oldest and well-known families in the town of Praiano and they have been associated with the history and development of the town for many years.

The home and several other famous spots in the town belong to the proprietors who know just about all there is to know about welcoming tourists and providing them with a residence full of charm and comfort.

Not by chance the owners of Villa Michelina are stars in our guest books with fans from Russia to Australia who praise their kindness and the marvelous buffet that they provide for their lucky guests on departure.

The villa needs nothing to make it sought after and appreciated by the many tourists who visit it and the estate agents wanting to promote it.

It is difficult to imagine a more charming and at the same time comfortable and attractive location than that of Villa Michelina.

It is located in the very centre of the little fishing village called ‘La Praia', a few steps from the famous beach of the same name.

It can be reached directly from the state road SS 163, has a reserved private parking spot, and is surrounded by, yet not invaded by, bathing establishments and some of the best open air restaurants and bars on the entire Amalfi Coast.

The house plays an important part in one of the most picturesque and beautiful panoramas on the Amalfi Coast and is in a strategic position for the vacationer who wants to hone up on his ‘ do nothing skills' as well as those who want easy access to windsurfing, fishing, waterskiing, and boat connections to the islands and the entire Coast.

The bus that connects to Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, and Salerno is a short walk from the door. The interior of the villa lacks absolutely nothing.

There is a beautiful little swimming pool, lovely gardens, a great barbecue area and the home boasts every creature comfort.

It is a fascinating piece of architecture in an enchanting environment and needs no make-up to further enhance its beauty.

Your hospitality and home-made limoncello and fruit from your garden have all been amazing Thank you for sharing your home and this wonderful part of Italy with us. A few tips to new visitors: Do eat out at the restaurants in the harbour......yummy To get to Pompei take the SITA bus to Meta, and the Circumvesuviano to Pompei. We came back from Sorrento to Positano by boat...a fantastic day!!!. Boat trip to Capri...brilliant and the trips offered by the companies on the beach were very good. We have had a very relaxing and fun time after a wedding in Ravello and cannot praise this area enough. The house and the hosts have made it all the more special. We hope to return, Thank you.
