We loved where it was located.. close to all relevant sight seeing. Very clean accommodations were sufficient and the view was beautiful.”

Maria was lovely to work with. She replied quickly to emails, and was waiting for us upon our arrival to Praiano. The description & photos are very accurate. The view is gorgeous (you can see Positano in the distance), and the villa is very clean. Beautiful sunsets in Praiano! Everything worked properly - decent showers & water pressure with hot water. We were there late May, so we didn't really need A/C. Our downstairs bedroom did not have an A/C unit in it, although the upstairs bedrooms did, but we were very comfortable. (There was an A/C unit downstairs in the living area, next to our bedroom). The downstairs bedroom only has curtains for privacy, not doors. We had 7 people in our group, and the villa was plenty spacious. Our bed was comfortable, but our daughters didn't find theirs as comfortable. (Although my husband & I like a firm bed). Our private car service dropped us off near a church/restaurant where Maria met us to lead us to the villa. It's quite a walk to the villa down many, many steps - which we were prepared for by reading the reviews - and packed light suitcases. Do not underestimate this part of the experience! You need to be in decent shape to navigate the steps. We were 7 adults in our group so each person could carry their own load. As far as Praiano, we stayed there because I could not find lodging for 7 people (within our budget & time frame) in Positano. Praiano is very quaint and feels more "authentic". At dinner at the restaurant above our villa we could hear children playing and the church bells ringing - all while taking in the beautiful sunset overlooking Positano. We spent our days in Positano, though, as there's so much more there to do & see. The bus ran only once an hour (not sure if it runs more frequently during the high season). It's about a 15 minute ride. When we missed the bus, we took a taxi - $30 for the 15 minute trip! We made sure not to miss the bus again! We took a semi-private boat tour to Capri for the day, and they picked us up in Praiano. We were only there 3 days, so we didn't get to experience hiking The Path of the Gods, or venture down the coast toward Amalfi & Ravello (which would be advantageous from a Praiano location). Loved the Amalfi Coast! Ciao!”

“This is a great tranquil place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. The house is situated near public transport and some top notch restaurants. Keep in mind that there are quite a few steps to get to house from main road. Not complaining because all of the Amalfi Coast is built on cliffs so stairs are unavoidable. House itself is clean and has fantastic views and charm. Communication with host was great! Too bad hosts other house, Villa Benedetta was booked for our trip. I will definitely stay there next time. ”

“Great view, great house, great location. Stunning view over the Amalfi Coast, an easy bus ride to Positano. A great pizza restaurant at the top. We were a family of 6 adults and 6 children and the house worked perfectly for us. There are a few steps so only for those who are mobile, it would suit the elderly. No parking but you can park in the street and walk down. Enjoy!”

“First off, the view from the balcony was probably one of the finest on the Amalfi Coast. The interior has a very modern feel and the beds were comfortable. The location is great as it feels like a "genuine Italian town" experience, and you are still close to everything you want and need. The private boat to Capri that Maria recommended was well worth it. Maria was also a great and accessible host., it's a great place to get away while having access to Positano.
