The property can be easily reached from the state road or the central Piazza of the nearby church of San Luca and there are stores and essential services available nearby.
Not far from the property are hair dressers, tobacconist, banking machine, pizzeria and a take out restaurant. The bus that connects to the centre of town and the nearby town of Positano is just a short walk from the property.
This same bus connects to the beach and the commercial centre of Vettica with its many bars, restaurants, grocery stores and night-life.
From here it is easy to reach Amalfi, Sorrento and Salerno by SITA bus lines.

The location was fantastic and the places near it were great. The host was great, helpful, and very pleasant to deal with. We loved the area and can't wait to return.
A nice house in good location.
Villa Giampa in Praiano is an incredible place to stay. I highly recommend it. We were 5 adults in total and required 4 beds, the space was perfect for us. We met Mr. Giampaolo upon arrival and he was wonderful. They were doing construction on the closest staircase to our street, which was unfortunate because it meant we had a longer walk up to another staircase, but he was very helpful, assisting us with our bags every step of the way. The photos do not do this Villa justice, especially the rooftop terrace with lots of seating, the pool and garden. The surroundings really do take your breath away. A few wonderful local restaurants were short walks away, along with the local grocery and bus stop. The location was great! I will mention that you have to be prepared to climb a lot of stairs, pack light (although the last staircase is equipped with a luggage lift). There are lots of stairs up to the Villa and in general, any kind of exploring around Praiano and all the surrounding towns involves stairs and hills. I highly recommend this Villa!
We stayed the week of 25/9 Villa Gianpa was a little slice of paradise for us. We rented the villa for us and our bridal party as we were getting married in the nearby town of Positano. The absolute selling point for us on this villa is the roof terrace with swimming pool. We honestly didn't want to leave the villa, it was so relaxing. It is a bit of a hike from the road (up 2 ramps and about 50 steps from the road) so my advice would be to pack light. Where you get dropped off on the road to walk to the villa there is a small grocery store there with the most wonderful people which is very convenient since you will want to cook in the enormous kitchen. Praiano is small and not as touristy as amalfi or positano but it's just a short, manageable bus ride to either town. Lots of locals so it's helpful to know a little italian. Pharmacy and other restaurants probably no more then an 8 minute walk from the villa. Would love to be able to plan to go back one day and rent villa gianpa again.
