Positano is included in the list of ‘ The most romantic places in the world' teeming with splendid residences and historic villas that witness of how hard it is to tear oneself away from the ‘ vertical town', that grows houses one on top of each other.
One is mesmerized by the marvelous cascade of houses, hugging one to another which dominates the infinite blue of the sky and sea.
Ambra house and Paola house are part side by side, one above the other of a beautiful building of Positano, on the Amalfi Coast in a very charming atmosphere, with big terraces and garden that overlook a wonderful sea view and on the stunning coastline.
The entrance to the apartments can be either from the main street through its private parking or going through a flight of stairs in the rock.
Ambra house is on the first floor and Paola house is on the second floor.
Both houses are pet friendly.
The owners grow an organic garden and it is at guests' disposal.
From the apartments you can reach easily the bus that connects Positano with Amalfi, Ravello and Sorrento where is the train station Circumvesuviana to reach Pompeii, Ercolano and Vesuvius or Naples.
The houses are very close to the center of Positano and also the local beach of Positano , that is very easy to reach through a lovely panoramic walk on main road.
Very characteristic on the beach is the famous disco "Music on the Rocks" that is dug into the rock dropping sheer on the sea.
Ambra house , about 100 square meters, is located on the first floor and it accommodates 4 persons.
It is composed with two double bedrooms, a sitting-room with divan , a very nice full equipped kitchen and two bathrooms with showers.
All the conveniences are up-to-date.
There is a beautiful and panoramic garden/terrace organized with a table, chairs, sun beds, pizza oven and BBQ where you can have your meals or sunbathe underneath the olive trees .
This apartment has air conditioning and is really cozy and with a wonderful sea view.
It is completely reserved and private; only the flight of stairs to reach the apartments is shared with the above apartment, Paola house, but it is kept private by a big partition of plants and flowers.
A private parking place is available with a fee for a car.

Lovely property above the busy Positano center with great hosts, spectacular view. The steps will ensure guilt-free dining!
Fabulous views and beautiful villa overlooking Positano!!! We booked this villa for 2 couples for the last week of September and it was perfect; the villa and weather! The patio was huge with 3 different seating areas and an above ground pool. The pictures are not retouched i.e. made to look larger than it is - it simply is huge and impressive! The kitchen was nicely stocked for breakfasts and light cooking. The owners could not have been more gracious and responsive. This is a wonderful property. Positano is known as the 'vertical city' so there are many many steps and steep inclines while walking up to the villa from town down by the beach. However, if you don't mind the exercise (to walk off the fabulous food and wine!), then you will adore this property as we did.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Ambra House. The apartment is well appointed and the view is one of the best of Positano. Villas Amalfi coast have been very attentive and helpful in ensuring that our holiday was an enjoyable experience. Their customer service and communication could not be better and we would have no problem in recommending their services to other holidaymakers. Travel tips •Note that there are 3 different bus services. The coastal service between Sorrento and Amalfi, the circular service which is frequent but only goes as far as Bar Internazionale, and the Montepertuso service which is less frequent but stops closer to the apartment. • The restaurants in town can be quite expensive but the Bar Internazionale and restaurants closer to the apartment are more reasonable. • We took day trips to Sorrento, Amalfi and Capri which were good value.
Fantastic views, tranquil terrace. Spent most of our time when we were not out on the terrace. Owners were extremely nice and accommodating. Villas Amalfi coast were truthful in their advertising. I would definitely recommend them. Travel tips •Use the terrace, have lunch or dinner right there. • Enjoy the views, there are better than most places you would go to.
We loved our stay! We loved our stay at Ambra House. The views were breathtaking and the terrace amazing! Although a little above the main beach easy access was available using the local bus. The owners lived next door and were very helpful with advice. Everything was perfect. We found the staff at villas Amalfi coast very professional. When our driver told us he was unavailable to pick us up from Naples airport the day before we required him, we contacted Villas Amalfi coast and they arranged for another driver to pick us up - nothing was too much trouble! Thank you - you saved us from a lot of stress!
